To re-adjust your W98 screen size follow the below instructions.

Follow the instructions to the T.

1)  Choose Start (Left Click)
2)  Then Settings (Left Click)
3)  Then Control Panel (Left Click)
4)  Then Display (Left Click Twice) - 
    Now let go of the Mouse. 
5)  Now Hit the TAB key exactly 5 Times 
6)  Now Hit the Right Arrow key exactly 5 Times 
   (Gets you to the SETTINGS TAB AT THE TOP)
7)  With your mouse (Left Click Hold and Drag) - 
    choose your SCREEN AREA 800 by 600 or 640 by 480
8)  Let go of the mouse and Hit the tab key 
    exactly 4 times
9)  Now Hit The ENTER key on the keyboard.
10) Now Hit OK (Mouse - Left Click) or Enter 
    (Keyboard) to the Message.
11) If the screen size looks OK then goto step (12) 
    if not say no and try step 7 again
12) Say YES (Mouse- Left Click) or Enter 
    (Keyboard) to The second message.
13) If not try step (7) again with a different setting.
14) Now you should be fine so hit OK to exit
